ABOUT US
The Team that Reinvented the Piston
MAHLE has 100+ years of global automotive history. What began in the 1920s with one aluminum piston in a small family workshop has evolved into the most advanced lightweight, low-drag piston with unmatched performance and durability that's won races and championships around the world, not least of which being Formula 1 and NASCAR.
Made in the USA
MAHLE Motorsport North America was established in 2000, and every POWERPAK piston is made in Morristown, TN. It took just four short years before the first MAHLE piston powered a NASCAR Cup engine to a championship, and we've never looked back. MAHLE has become motorsport's leading supplier of forged pistons and rings, expanding into all forms of racing and beyond. And that's something we credit to our team—because they're much more than just engineers, operators or associates. They're also engine builders and racers at heart. Their meticulous dedication and passion have built the #1 piston of professional race teams and engine builders alike.
Rigorous Research & Development
Despite MAHLE's unmatched performance on the track, our focus is not exclusive to racing. MAHLE's reputation as an OE supplier paired with the precision manufacturing of the motorsport group has made us the pinnacle supplier of choice for factory high performance vehicles. Our testing and expertise reach hundreds of tracks throughout the county—to the dynos of Detroit and back. We bring race-level technology to the OEM world and OEM-level durability and reliability to the racing world.
That's how we've built the POWERPAK to
succeed in any environment—
from a sub four-second blast down the quarter mile to a 24-hour endurance race or even the brutal 24/7 operating cycle of an industrial engine running for months on end. Whatever engine you've got, the POWERPAK can take it to the next level.
